Discografie ~KRS-One~
Lawrence Krisna Parker (născut pe 20 august, 1965) este cel mai bine cunoscut după numele său de scenă KRS-One ( KRS-One însemnând – Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone; Ro: Cunoștințele domină într-un mod suprem pe aproape oricine). De asemenea, literele K, R și S provin de la numele lui și de la numele zeului Hindu, Krishna.
KRS-One este mult mai mult decât un simplu rapper sau artist. Acesta este un profesor, un învățător care ține prelegeri despre ceea ce înseamnă cu adevărat Hip-Hop-ul, dar și viața în sine.
În anul 2008, la Premiile BET, KRS-One a primit premiul pentru Realizarea mai multor lucruri deosebite pe parcursul vieții, deoarece artistul a făcut multe eforturi pentru a înființa Mișcarea împotriva violenței, și de asemenea a readus la viață Hip-Hop-ul, ca muzica, dar și ca o complexă cultură. KRS-One este de asemenea, un mare adept al vegetarianismului.
Deoarece mâine, 20 august 2013, KRS-One împlinește vârsta înțeleaptă de 48 de ani, noi ne-am gândit să realizăm un articol cu întreaga sa discografie în ceea ce privește cariera sa ca artist în lumea muzicii Hip-Hop. KRS a făcut parte și din grupul de Hip-Hop, Boogie Down Productions (mai pe scurt, BDP), alături de DJ-ul Scott La Rock și Derrick “D-Nice” Jones.
